    The Learning Center

The Learning Center, also known as the TLC, is a resource to all students at Holy Apostles School. It is a place where students who are struggling in any subject can get extra help. It is a room where students can study quietly before a test or complete work after an absence of any kind. Students come to the Learning Center to be challenged or to use one of the many Mac computers that are available. They come to learn and practice organizational skills. Younger students come for basic technology instruction and literacy activities. Peer mentoring is available October through May in the TLC.

    Project Lead the Way

HA1415001_md This innovative program is integrated into our Middle School and Primary science curriculum so that every Holy Apostles student can benefit. Project Lead the Way is a nationally recognized Science, Technology, Engineering and Math program that emphasizes hands-on, project-based learning to build a lifelong interest in STEM topics in each student. To learn more, please visit the PLTW website.

    Technology

Technology in various forms is integrated into the educational process with students at all grade levels. Students regularly utilize iPads, Smart boards and desktop computers individually and as a class. This interactive approach to technology provides teachers and students an additional learning tool while building each students knowledge of technology across a variety of platforms, helping them be better prepared for future learning.

    Library Services

Mrs. Holly Cartier and many wonderful parent and parish volunteers manage the library. Contact Mrs. Cartier via email or 262-786-7331. If you would like to volunteer in the library, please contact the school office. More about our Library Services here.

    Character Education

DSCN1080_md As a Catholic school, our education is rooted in our faith and the traditions of our church. This philosophy means that we are educating the whole child - mind, body, and spirit - and as such, we strive to help all our students develop character in the image of Christ. Through the values modeled by our community, the guidance of our teachers, and the instruction in the teachings of Jesus and the Catholic church, students develop into young men and women of character. In addition, we use several resources designed to help the students develop good character, strong friendships and emotional maturity.
