    Academic Overview

    Holy Apostles Parish School is dedicated to providing a quality Catholic education to the community. Our standardized test scores demonstrate the achievement of our students.

    Highlights of the educational program include:

     

    - Kindergarten – 3, 4 and 5 year old programs,  with a faith-based, academic focus.

    - Beginning in 4K, all students are taught by certified specialists in the areas of music, physical education, foreign language, and learning/reading resource.

    - Two classrooms per grade level from 5K-8th grade allow for personalized attention while maintaining robust opportunities for social and emotional growth.

    - Departmentalized classrooms in Grades 6-8, with the use of specialists in the areas of music, physical education, foreign language, art and technology.

     

     The following factors enhance the learning environment:

     

    - Archdiocesan certified religion teachers and State of Wisconsin certified principal and teachers.

    - Archdiocesan School Accreditation/Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools Accreditation.

    - Uniforms for 5K - 8th grade

    - Integrated oppportunities for faith formation, including weekly Mass, religious education, class retreats, and preparation for the sacraments

    - Learning  Resource Center for individual academic support and enrichment

    - Technology includes PC labs, many tablet/laptop carts, as well as iPads used throughout the building

    - Exceptional facilities include a state-of-the-art science lab and multi-media library staffed by a certified librarian

    - Project Lead the Way program is integrated beginning with the Launch program in 5K through the Gateway program in middle school. Our middle school program includes six VEX Robotics kits and 21 student laptops with Autodesk Inventor software, RobotC software, and LoggerPro

    - Extracurricular art educational opportunities include choir (grades 5-8), forensics (6-8), and band (grades 4-8)

    - Many service opportunities throughout all grades, including Student Council leadership program (grades 6-8)

    - After School Care Program available

    - Organized parent volunteer program, including an active Home and School Association that provides additional learning and experiential opportunities throughout the year
